I went to this hospital as a tourist with insurance, and a Thai woman from the insurance company looked after me. I was seen very quickly, didn't have to wait. It's a decent hospital, the staff is attentive, the doctors speak English, and they explain everything with a translator if needed.
The staff and nurses are lovely. They speak well and explain things clearly. They're wonderful. However, sometimes I see patients using impolite language towards the staff, lacking politeness. I really like this place; the service is excellent.
Don't come late at night because there are no doctors available. You have to wait for a doctor from Vachira Hospital to come and examine you. If you come at 8 PM, you'll have to wait until after 2 AM before you can be examined, receive your medication, and go home.
